IGM TRADE — Steel production, processing and international trade
Since its foundations as a trading company in 1991, IGM-Trade has been rapidly developing as a greenfield investment, becoming one of the largest producers of steel welded pipes and profiles in South-Eastern Europe.
Today, we have over 450 employees working at our premises in Kavadarci, covering an area of 400,000 m², with 280,000 m² of covered space.
Our production facilities have a combined annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes per year. We continuously invest in new technologies in order to sustain our position as a market leader and to provide our customers with reliable, high-quality products.
IGM-Trade is an export-oriented company, with approximately 95% of total output sold outside Macedonia, primarily in the EU and CEFTA markets.
Our highly motivated and experienced sales team works closely with the production department to ensure fast production, efficient delivery and a high degree of customer satisfaction.
We work continuously to meet the strict quality requirements of our customers and to maintain long-term business relationships with partners across international markets.
Our secondary activity involves the processing of steel coils into sheets and strips, with continuous plans to further develop our in-house service centre capabilities.
Production & Quality
Production takes place according to internationally recognized manufacturing and quality standards. Our product range includes a wide variety of welded steel pipes and hollow sections.
- Square hollow sections from 13 × 13 up to 250 × 250 mm, with thickness up to 10.0 mm
- Rectangular hollow sections from 30 × 10 up to 300 × 200 mm, with thickness up to 10.0 mm
- Round tubes from Ø 17.2 up to Ø 323.9 mm, with thickness up to 8.0 mm
- Pressure-tested tubes
- Oval and semi-oval tubes
- Special cross-section profiles — ZP profiles
- Steel grades: S235JR, S275JR, S355JR
Investment & Development
As part of our investment strategy, IGM-Trade operates a production facility for steel structures and a construction company which are extensively used in the construction of IGM's new projects.
At the end of 2015, IGM-Trade expanded its operations outside Macedonia with the acquisition of the former ALPOS factory for welded steel pipes and profiles located in Šentjur, Slovenia.
This investment provides significant technological, logistical and marketing benefits, enabling the company to strengthen its presence in EU markets and better serve its customers throughout Western Europe.
Production at the Slovenian facility started in 2017 with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes.
